Welcome
Send, sign and manage agreements programmatically with the Docusign eSignature REST API v2.1.
The Docusign eSignature REST API lets you add electronic signatures and agreement workflows to your own apps: create and send envelopes, embed the signing experience, manage templates, and track every document through completion.
What you'll find here
- API Reference: all 414 eSignature v2.1 operations, grouped by resource (Envelopes, Templates, Recipients, Users, Connect and more), with request and response examples and a live API playground.
- SDKs: client libraries for C#, Python and TypeScript, generated by APIMatic, with code samples on every endpoint.
- Context Plugin: brings the API and SDKs into AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
